Cosmic Clay Studio

Located in Dekalb County and less than seven miles from Evins Mill, Cosmic Clay Studio is owned and operated by master potter Louis Colombarini and his wife Christine, herself a master hand builder. Louis and Christine offer pottery and hand building classes at their studio and have custom designed a memory-making workshop for guests of Evins Mill. In a two to three-hour session starting at 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m., participants will learn how to craft two or three pieces to keep and treasure. The clay-making package includes the clay, glazes, firing, and shipping, and is just $100 per participant. Reservations are required. The Colombarinis established their studio in 1980 and for more than forty-five years have designed, created, and sold clay artworks throughout the US and Canada. Dedicated to lifelong careers in the ceramic arts, their contemporary and classic clay works have gained national recognition and won numerous awards. Closer to home, they helped establish Dekalb County's Off The Beaten Path Studio Tour, which takes place annually the last full weekend of October, includes dozens of local art studios, and is now celebrating its twenty-fifth season.

Harmony Lane Farm & Creamery
Located in Dekalb County and less than six miles from Evins Mill, Harmony Lane Farm & Creamery is owned and operated by Julie & Mark David and is a Grade A Dairy, selling fresh goat milk products – including milk, cheese, fudge & soap. Over one hundred goats produce some of the best goat milk around, which, when combined with fresh ingredients from the farm, also result in the finest goat cheese around. We procure our chevre from Harmony Lane and stock our "gift shop" with several Harmony Lane products.

Bert Driver Nursery & Burlap Room
Dekalb & Warren Counties are known far and wide for nurseries. While most nurseries are wholesale operations, at least one accommodates retail sales - Bert Driver Nursery (615.597.9560), which is less than seven miles from Evins Mill and from which Evins Mill purchases the trees, shrubs & perennials it uses in its own landscaped areas.
