Evins Mill is minutes from the Caney Fork River, one of Middle Tennessee's premier fly fishing destinations. Even closer is Center Hill Lake, one of the state's foremost recreational lakes, around which there are multiple marinas and recreation areas, where guests may boat, fish, swim and water ski.

Fly Fishing & Casting Lessons

Andy Mahurin is a Certified Fly Fishing Guide on the Caney Fork River. While his favorite species is trout, he also loves to fish for smallmouth bass, pike and striped bass.

He attended Fly Fishing Guide School at Montana Fishing Outfitters in Big Sky, Montana and a few years later relocated to Middle Tennessee to guide full time on the Caney Fork River.

Andy works in partnership with Billy Medley of Medley Fishing School to offer guided fishing trips on the Caney Fork and to offer casting lessons on-site at Evins Mill.
