"My wife and I took the day tripper package here and we were not disappointed. The falls are just amazing and worth the hike. The lunch was wonderful and they did not skimp on anything. There are several places to enjoy nature."

Two dirt trails lead to Carmac Falls. The North Trail begins by the Main Lodge and leads to the North Overlook, which offers the most spectacular overhead view of Carmac Falls. The trail to the North Overlook is one mile there and back and features modest elevation changes. Accessing the overlook requires crossing a creek, which can usually be accomplished without getting one's shoes wet.

The South Trail begins by the Gristmill and is the only way to access the base of Carmac Falls, where there is a pristine swimming hole and which is one and a half miles there and back. Unlike the North Trail, the trail to the South Overlook is relatively flat, but the final descent to the base is steep, involves a significant elevation change and in one stretch borders a precipice.
